The thing is, lice happens.
It is easy to get rid of lice with our patented AirAllé system.
How do you prevent lice from spreading to other family members?
Below are some practical & effective ways to prevent the spread of head lice
Say “yes” to lice treatment house calls
At Licenders, the infected person is treated professionally. Everyone is educated as to how lice spread. If your schedule doesn’t permit, we can do lice treatment in your home.

Wash all infested bedding and clothes with hot water
It’s important to wash in high heat all fabric which the infected person has come in contact with. Shared clothes, pillowcases and beddings, plush toys, caps, hats, and towels, fall into this category. Use the highest temperature possible for tumble-dry. Do this for 15-20 minutes to be on the safe side.
Items that can’t be washed should be sealed in a plastic bag and left for 10 days.
During that time any live lice will die. They can’t survive without a blood meal. We have found several cases of super lice where even after 10 days of being in a sealed plastic bag they were still crawling around! They weren’t viable and couldn’t reproduce, posing no threat!
Wipe down all furniture and vacuum the carpeting & rugs.
Lice can get on mattresses, cushions, curtains, and carpets. They can’t live away from a human head. Use a vacuum cleaner to give yourself peace of mind that there are no lice around.
Combs and brushes can be soaked in boiling water.
