At Licenders, we pride ourselves in providing effective, natural, and innovative solutions to lice and nit removal.
In the business since 1996, We know lice! We give you back peace of mind.
Parents ask us how can you tell if a delousing treatment is successful?, or if they need to go back for another treatment?
At home check your child’s head. Lice lays nits in clusters. If you find six or seven nits in a single area, more then likely there is still a live bug laying eggs.
If you find single stray nit, it’s probably not viable anymore. It should be combed out but it doesn’t pose a threat.
Look closely at your child’s scalp
Lice typically lay nits close to the scalp, for an easy blood meal.
If you find clusters near the scalp, get in touch with us ASAP for a quick FREE screening.
Observe for a period of two weeks
Nits usually hatch within a week. If they don’t, that means the any remaining nits are dead and will hatch . If two weeks have gone by and you don’t find clusters near the scalp, then you can rest assured that your child is truly lice-free.
