Honesty in Lice Removal Businesses

LICENDERS Promotes

natural lice products
lice treatment information

LICENDERS is here to serve our
Head Lice Clients
Lice Removal Clinicians
Lice Salon Customers
Safe Natural Products Customers

It has come to our attention that other
lice product companies
are

using LICENDERS' name
using our copyright protected resources
claiming to be trained by LICENDERS.
billing exorbitant amounts
selling lice products dishonestly
selling natural products that are bogus

These resources are being used to commit FRAUD.
We have been told that Insurance is paying for lice removal.
Most medical insurance will not pay for removal of head lice.
some policies that cover alternative treatments will.
If a lice removal service is charging a standard insurance HMO for lice removal, they are likely committing FRAUD.

There are lice removal businesses in
Long Island,
Connecticut,
New Jersey,
Westchester,
Massachusetts,
Rhode Island,
Pennsylvania,
and
Vermont.

LICENDERS has been in business, honestly for 12 years.
It was started by Dr. Robert Schachter, a psychologist.
Adie Horowitz joined and bought the company.
In September 2008, The company was re-organized.

If somebody claiming to represent LICENDERS has billed you for services after camp, we want to know about it.
If your insurance company reimbursed you for a receipt that we gave you... that is fine.
If you were told that the insurance company will cover it directly, you have participated in INSURANCE FRAUD, and you should report it.

If someone is selling you a lice treatment product that supposedly kills nits, they are lying to you, and manipulating you when you are vulnerable. They are selling you snake oil. Do not be fooled.

There are some "lice shampoo" products available with conditioners and oils that will make an itchy head feel better...

If after using such natural lice products you no longer have nits... then
you never had nits!!!

You had either
dandruff,
sebhorea,
dry skin,
hair protein,
or other debris found in
human hair.

Not nits.

Lice do not die from fragrant oils.
They don't like the smell, so the oils can act as a repellent.
Citronella works as a bug repellent for head lice.

Nits don't die from essential oils.
Lice are HUMAN Parasites.

Nits only die from heat or cold that is too extreme for a human!!

I hope this lice information clears up some of the lice myths that are circulating around the Northeast.
